Goal:  Works to ensure New Jersey primary care physicians and members in the health care professions will diagnose and treat asthma based on best practices as provided by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) Guidelines for managing asthma, and New Jersey health insurance plans will offer coverage to support best practice and referral to specialty care.
