PACNJ Received the American Lung Association 2009 Bernard Gregory Award for Diversity
The Bernard Gregory Awards for Diversity are given in recognition of the creation or promotion of more effective diversity practices within the Lung Association family. The review committee was especially pleased with the work PACNJ did with Newark Public Schools both in awarding all 83 schools with the PACNJ Asthma Friendly School Award, and in working with the district to receive the EPA National IAQ Tools for Schools Award for Excellence.

PACNJ Received the United States Environmental Protection Agency 2007 Indoor Air Quality Tools for Schools “Special Achievement Award”
This award was given in recognition of outstanding commitment to a healthy school environment, at their national conference in Washington D.C.
PACNJ received the Allergy and Asthma Network Mothers of Asthmatics 2005 National “Making a Difference Award”
This award was given for excellence in asthma education at the AANMA National Conference in Washington D. C.
